Should a room have a snooker table ... if so, a 5x10 or 6x12?
If you have one, how much play does it get?

We have a 6X12, and it's reasonably popular.

--probably used half the time for golf and half for snooker

Yes and 6x12 would be my choice. I grew up playing Snooker on a 6x12 and if there was a room in my town that had a 6x12 Snooker table then I would be a regular in that room.
