snooker table?

I don't believe there are any more. I recently purchased one out of a pool room. However, anything I needed for it I went over seas to England to purchase.

So used in the US Yes...............Newly manufactured in the US NO. As far as I know.

you can buy a snooker table in the UK and have it shipped here easily, if your interested let me know I'll dig up the links and post them here.

There are a couple of Canadian manufacturers. Never played on either one.

The Black Crowns are commercial tables. None in my area, but are found in Quebec, Northern Ontario, and in Western Canada. The pool tables have been mentioned favourably in the main thread. You can probably get comments on both these brands there:D

if anyone is interested in purchasing the best table a riley aristocrate the same as fatboy bought and used in pro tournaments i have one sitting in storage and would happily sell it. it has a few sets of pro snooker-pool balls extensions etc even under table heating and tv fluro lights ex uk championship table. shit ill even throw in some snooker cues including my old one which has beaten all the top pro's except ronnie just point it in the general direction and the cue will do the rest for ya. i have been too lazy to advertise it but if anyone is interested message me i would like to get rid of it as its just been sitting in storage for 5 years

I am not certain what part of the States you are from, but I do know a number of people in the industry in Southern Ontario and British Columbia. If you would like me to make some calls to see what they have, let me know. Also a friend of mine is refurbishing a Burroughes & Watts with hopes of having it set up by the fall. At present he has a Brunswick in his basement, that he will be selling once the other is ready.

About 5 years ago I fixed someone from the States up with a table. He drove up to Canada to pick it up(save on shipping). It was a four year old Dufferin with all the accessories, light included, for $1000. I am sure that deals could be had because most halls have snooker tables in storage. I certainly do not want to take away from chamillionare's offer, but if he is in Europe, the shipping cost could be more than the table cost. After having said that Riley's are excellent tables, get a quote, you never know.Plus how can you go wrong with his cue.

I do know someone from Canada that regularly installs snooker tables in the States. His tables are not cheap, but if you are interested in contacting him, let me know.

Drop me a line if you wish.

Regards,
Mike

What is your location?, condition of table?, asking price? etc.

$9,000 us you pay for the shipping but ill organise it if you like, thats with all the equiptment i mentioned above. it is second hand i am pretty sure there is zero import tax or very little. maybe you should ask fatboy or he can post the total cost for him to get his riley to the states? mine was quite expensive landed in australia

it is located in melbourne australia but you wont find one in american so you would have to import one from the uk like i did but they will try to shaft you with the taxes.

it is in excellent condition as it was always in my own house

mine does not have the cheap looking silver legs either god knows what world snooker was thinking with that add on. i think it looks terrible like they were trying to give a traditional wood table a modern look with a tin of spray paint.

mine cost me about the same give or take a thousand or so, i am guessing i could ship it to the us for 2 grand approx. maybe less i dont know for sure, so my table would be landed for around 11,000 and it comes with under table heating, lights, balls, and cues.

in the back of my mind there is something i always wanted to do with a snooker table. if it does not sell i might eventually set it up outside and put on my waistcoat bowtie play someone and when the game gets under my skin which it always did ill attack it with a chainsaw and put my snooker demons to rest.

though id prefer to sell it

I have a very old Steepleton 5 x 10 foot that is in very good shape for sale in the for sale forum here on AZ. I will take $800.00 cash with pick up only of this table. You can see the pics on the for sale forum as well.
It is an awesome table for an unheard of cheap price. I just need the room in my shop and last year I closed the pool room in was in. Just let me know!
Thanx,
Jim Lee
