Snooker World Tour

Not knowing too much about the situation, I would probably favor getting Barry Hearn in control, especially considering the increase in tournaments is not contingent on Sir Rodney Walkers invovlement. He did some good things for snooker in the 80's and did a great job for his matchroom team. Some of the sponsorship ideas were kind of silly but hey, at least someone was trying.

From what I understand he talked Rolex into sponsoring either a tournament or his players in the 80's, I can't remember which, but the selling point was that the players wrist is the most consistently visibly part of his body whilst on tv, therefore giving the product constant exposure.
