So many different colors in ball sets

I don't know if this has ever happened to you, but I just played with a set of balls that had the 6 as gray & the 7 as green!
Did the creator miss 1st grade or what?
They SUCK!

Oh,
They look nice don't get me wrong, and I like how they display the numbers.
It's just another set of balls that will throw player's off until they get use to them...

Many of the people playing in that tournament said the same thing, "I don't like the colors! They are too confusing!"
Note: There was only 1 set of those 6-gray/7-green balls.

I'd get shape on the 7, when the 6 was way down table and now was a very hard shot... (happened 3-4 times).

Aramith Super Pro's were different too!
I can't tell you how many times I'd shoot the 5 ball before the 4 (not dumb, just was use to playing with traditional colors, then a big tournament happens and your focused on the wrong ball again, *^&%#).

I think variance's of how the numbers are displayed is great!
Just not the colors!

BS

This topic has been covered a LOT on here. Do a search to see just how much. I agree here. The CLASSIC colors are timeless and should not be jacked with.

I did do a search and read many (still be reading next week if I read them all).
Just thought I'd give a few thoughts about colors...

Just play 8 Ball. And you don't have to worry about what the colors are. Assuming you can tell a solid from a stripe! LOL

I do prefer the standard colors. I see no reason why we can't just stick with that.

I would rather play with a classic colored set.

With that being said, I mainly practice with a TV set, or skittles as they are lovingly referred to. Makes it easier to play with whatever is on the table wherever I go.

Well it about dollars and cents for makers, some people like weird colors like orange.

Ford use to come blsck one, Henry Ford was to have said want a Ford, you can have any color. As long as it is BLACK.🤯

You are referring to Dynaspheres. The 7B is light blue, not green.

If you can't adjust to the equipment, I believe it's a you issue. Just sayin'.

The only acceptable changes are the 4 being pink and 7 being light blue.

I prefer the classics though.

The Aramith Black balls can go to hell.
If I want to see a pink ball on a table with 6 holes I’ll watch a snooker game. The 7 needs to be maroon, the 4 Moby Grape and the 5 orange. And while we’re at it I’m tired of seeing a nine ball that is black with a yellow stripe!

Orange isn’t my favorite color. The 5 ball is orange-nothing more nothing less😄

I'm waiting to buy a new set when those who deem such colors finally make up their damn minds!

Why spend hundreds then look like an idiot for buying the "wrong" colors?

NOT Dynaspheres.

Your right,
It IS a me issue!
And I DON'T LIKE THE "ODD" COLORS!
They can be confusing!

Out of 10 pool halls, each has 4-5 "different" sets of balls (there are very few exception these days).
