So Proud of my Bluegrass

My first custom cue is a stunning Bluegrass "Hustler" cue by Richard Harris. I think $ for $ Richard builds the best looking cues out there. Wish I could afford a full custom by him, but I am still incredibly proud of this beauty. He made it to my specs:

Indian Rosewood / Birdseye Maple butt
Decor rings at the joint and bumper
18.7 oz
59" length
Brown Linen Micarta Ferrule
Kamui Black Soft Tip

And my first league game tonight with it was a break and run so we're off to a good start!

There ya go!

A cue has to earn it's place I guess. :D

Nice wood!

Any cuemaker makes his living and his name on how a cue plays first, before how fancy he might be able to make it. Making it fancy yet still playing well might take more experience and talent but he needs to know how to make a cue play well in the first place to do that.

Nice wood making balls in holes. :thumbup:

Break and run? You did that. And you did it in style with nice wood. Bonus. :smile:

And besides...those are nice rings buddy...that is no small thing.

Thanks for showing off! :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

Thank you! By the way, I did want to specifically mention that Richard was a joy to work with. Very responsive, and professional. I frequently read horror stories in the main forum about bad experiences with other cue makers. Not so with Richard! He is exceeding nice, and down to earth guy. No nonsense. Can't thank him enough.
