...that they're selling the Sigel/Jones match DVD of?

Was it JUST the two of them? Or was it a real event?

It just seems silly to me to invite two people and call it a "world championship". *shrug*

I bring this up because on the round three episode of KOTH, the announcer guy mentions to Sigel that he played Jones in this event - and without any clarification, it would sound to anyone listening that it was a larger tournament than just two folks. I'm curious if that's how it was.

It was all done to generate publicity and to set up the KOTH tournament. Two hall of famers, one male and one female. They promoted it all over the place, 150K to the winner and 75K to the loser. It was done to establish a "champion" that would then be the "target" for all the players in the KOTH. More of a marketing move than a serious match, but they accomplished what they needed to accomplish.
