To all you pool players in Southern California, we decided to throw a last minute, 9 Ball Tournament at The Golden Cue in South El Monte!

  • $300 Added (based on 32)
  • $25 Entry
  • 9 Foot Gold Crowns
  • Single Elim. (Pros to 8, Shortstops to 7 and Amateurs to 5)
  • Loser Breaks
  • Champagne at Midnight
  • All Night Poker (Cash Game)
  • All Night King Of The Hill Table!

In addition to the tournament there will also be an all-night cash game poker table, complimentary midnight champagne pour and a few mini tournaments on the barboxes to handle any overflow!

So, if you've nothing to do on New Year's Eve or simply wish to join us for some fun and togetherness to celebrate 2016 then come on down to Golden Cue Billiards - We are sure to be open long past 2am for anyone wishing to continue the action after bars close!

Gosh darn it......what a great idea........a little too far to drive because of the bum shoulder that's about to undergo another surgery......this is a terrific menu for spending the last night of the year and greeting 2016......please do take photos of all the activities and post them on this thread or a new one.

I really do envy those of you that live in the area and play pool at Golden Cue. The owners may have done something like this before but from my recollection, this is the first time I've read about a venue like this for a New Year's celebration. My compliments to the management for offering a novel curriculum for celebrating the last night of the year.

A dedicated owner who over the years has consistently been making the right moves.

He has always been known as a player and brought the players passion to his room.

I have a feeling that this might be the 1st time but hopefully it is successful enough to warrant another year which I will definitely attend.

You all are getting very creative over at the Golden Cue Daniel and I hope that you all have a safe, Happy New Year and a ton of fun.
