Hi all,

Thanks for being so patient. We are officially opening for business this Friday, June 11th @ 4pm. Please come by and say hello if you get the chance. I'm not posting pics until after we open.

I've been away from NYC for a couple years, but I thought Society Billiards was already open. Did it close and reopen? Remodel? Just curious.

Sounds great Jude! I'm planning a trip to NYC on the 21st and will definitely plan on playing in your room a few nights!

The original Society Billiards closed about 15 years ago and reopened as Broadway Billiards. They closed last year. This Friday, we're bringing pool back to 10 East 21st Street.

That's pretty convenient for you -- the address and the date are one and the same! :D

Seriously, I'm going to have to try to make it down there. NYC's a bit of a haul for me (I'm 90 minutes north in upstate NY), but oh heck, I have to make a pool weekend one of these weekends. Jude's room is a must-visit for me.

Nice, the next time I'm in NYC, I'll stop by to say hi. I'm guessing it's going to be a nice, upscale place. :)
