Soft break in 9 ball

Well that break in the video is a joke. The corner ball goes in every time like a set up trick shot. There is more going there then just a soft break.

100% agree. The other thing "going" is a fellow named Corey Deuel. :D

But Deuel has used it on hundreds of tables. He used it to win the US Open 9-ball Championship (I doubt there was anything "wrong" with that table). The key is knowing (practicing) where and how hard to hit the one-ball on a specific table. Deuel has so much experience with it that he can dial it in after just a few attempts.

The edge

Pro players that live off of pool earnings are always looking for an edge, I would too. I watched Corey playing Orcollo on a bar box and Corey had that break down to a science and it won him the match. If it is legal it's legal and that is that. I'm not good enough to master a break on a big or small table, but I definitely hit a small table break softer.

The other key is setting up the rack so the balls freeze in a way that the wing ball goes. The 2.0 version of this was the Donny Mills break imo. When he has that break working and hes in stroke, I like him against anyone in the world playing RYO 9ball.
