Here are a few cues that I've put together using Chris Hightower lathe since I've started 5 months ago. Been trying my hand at cue repair locally and it's working out very well (havn't mess up a cue yet:))...did quite a bit of leather wraps, tips, shaft tapering, new shafts in the last 3 months. I can see now why cue repair may be more profitable then building cues for some. Lots of fun work and time involved in making these cues...now I know why some of you are so addicted to building cues. Fortunately for me, my 2 sons pull and cry me back to reality.

I can't believe that it's been over 20 years now that I've actually sold something that I personally made.

Duc, they look great. The cue with the ovals, is the butt cap leather?

Thanks Jason, the butt cap is actually phenolic wrap in leather. I don't see any cuemaker doing it so thought I give it a try. It actually turn out pretty good. I think more custom inlay should be done to leather wrap to compliment the design of the cue. Inlay on top of leather is heck lot easier than on wood that for sure. I;ve seen a few cues that had leather inlays and they look cool and modern.

Regards,
Duc.
