Some pictures of my Scruggs

I just thought I'd share a few pics of my 2004 Tim Scruggs. I recently bought the cue off alshirey here on AZ. Coco into birdseye forearm, black leather wrap and 3/8x10 pin with a ivory joint. I love the way it looks and i especially love the way it plays, i don't think I'll need a new playing cue for quite a long time.

Hope you enjoy the pics. :)

Wow, very nice. I must have missed that one, or I would have been a rival for it. Very nice. If you decide to let it go, let me know. I always have stuff to trade.

I must missed this one too. Never seen it for sale here. Beautiful cue.

If you don't mind me asking, what was the sale price on this pretty cue?

Thanks,

John

Thanks guys, i know everyone says this but the cue really does look better in real life.

John i'm sending you a pm.

Yeah that Lambros is a absolute killer cue! I would have liked it myself but it was a bit out of my budget. The last time i talked to Allen he still had the cue, which i was very surprised about.

Thanks dude. :)
I saw this cue on Deno Andrews site a while ago and really liked the look of the wood butt cap. When i first received the pics of this cue it everything i wanted, big pin, ivory joint, leather, nice veneer combo, its just a bonus that it plays so good! :)

Very nice scruggs. I like mine a lot and I imagine you will like yours as much. I have found myself liking my cue more as I keep playing with it. I haven't had a cue grow on me quite like that.

Sweet cue!

I really like the way those ivory rjngs just grab your eyes. They are a real classic design. A very very extrordinary cue! How do they take something everyone else is doing and make it seem different and always so pretty!
Happy pocketing!
I bet it hits soft and firm and you bettter be careful you might draw the cueball up your arm!

Thats pretty much the same for me. I doesn't really hit like anything i've played with before, its just so easy moving the cb around the table.

Thanks Nick. :)

I know what you mean with the draw, it effortless.

Great looking TS!
Have any better pictures of the veneers? Looks to be double Black, Coco, Maple and the Coco points, is that right?

This cue is sweet as hell!!! I am crying on the inside because I would have liked to own it. Oh well, everytime I see a Scruggs I really want, another one appears... it never fails. Nice looking cue!

Cheers,
Jim

This is the first veneered cue I've owned so I'm really no expert but to me it looks like: double thick black, double thick coco, single maple and then the coco point.

Nice shaftwood!

Thanks. :)
The shafts really are nice, very straight grain in both of them.

nice!

That looks to be a great pick-up DEEP...I love the cocobolo in the buttcap, it reminds me of my cocobolo DZ, only your cue is waaay more expensive  :D Every time I see a SCRUGGS like yours, it makes me want to save some cash and spend the high asking prices for one, but then I remember that I'd be too afraid to play with it, and come back to reality really quickly :D . Anyways, you got yourself a GREAT looking cue there sir! Thanks for sharing the pics, and feel free to "share" the cue by sending it to me to try out anytime you wish   :D :D lmao

Here are a couple cousins of yours!
Mine is the one on top without the veneers. Not as fancy as yours, but I still love it! I don't have any pic's of the finished cue.
