seems so ...

Reasonable pricing ... Seems like they would get scuffed up though.

I had a hard box case as my first case, and I did not care for it.
(40 years ago though).

If you had many cues, seems like it would be heavy ...

Your comment about Scuffing are Valid, and i know from my Whitten Experience I am CAREFUL with my Whitten leather Cases to keep em Scuff FREE.

As for Weight, my 2 x 4 Leather Case with Two Butts, Four Shaft, and all the Stuff Weighs in at 11.5 Pounds.

I personally am very Careful with my Poll Equipment, and most is in LIKE NEW CONDITION.

But I know from Experience of dealing with people that some folk can Trash a New Mercedes is 3000 Miles. Think those who take pride, and care of their equipment with have nice looking stuff, and other folks stuff will look like it was to Hell & Back....

Bruce,
You are so right!! I'm one of those who never washes his car (its just transportation, who cares if its dirty or scratched or dented). I was just cracking up at the thought of buying a fine wooden case. You would need a case to protect the protective case. Then another case to protect the case protecting the protective case. You are going to need 3 people to tote your case around if you keep adding layers. Each to his own.

i bought a handmade wooden 3 x 5 case when i first started...........damn thing came in the mail.......and was huge compared to what i expected.

my friends called it the "cue coffin" i mean this thing was gigantic..........was NOT very travel friendly.........

come to think of it.......i should post it in the for sale area........LOL

Wood cases are good if u fall over board ,And need to flot on something....

Maybe they should do what Diamond does with some of their tables. They have a hardener that seeps into the wood. It would not get scratched or banged up to easily. Diamond can throw a pool ball at it and never leave a mark. It would add weight though.
