Pockets are 6 cm (2.36") and balls are 5.4 cm (2.13"), which gives you an about an 1/8" clearance on either side if you hit center pocket. I take back my statement about gambling with those guys ...... Don't know how i missed the small pockets!
1/8" clearance .... RESPECT!
 
Looks like the pockets are so tight that you have to smash through them.

Does the incoming player pay the winner?

That's funny, I have absolutely no idea what he said........even with subtitles on.
