I just did an install on a new Diamond Professional with the newest “crown removal bolt system”.
The parts included in this system is 4 - 1/4” all-thread bolts (about 10” long), 4 countersunk barrel nuts, 8 fender washers and 8 nuts. There are two countersunk cut holes a few inches apart on each slate located on the joint edges.
There is nothing under the frame to anchor the bolt through to be able to pull the crown out.
Best I can figure you have to mount some kind of board underneath the frame to drill a hole for the bolt to go through and give you a proper anchor point.
I’ll love to hear what is the predetermined way you are supposed to use these bolts.
