Something about bocote…

Decided to whip up a simple one piece bocote butt with minimal features. Really let the grain do the show work on this cue.

Loving how it’s looking as I taper it down.

Back to sit in the basement for a bit and then I’ll throw a pin in it and finish it.

I love bocote, it has beautiful grain and pattern. Very underrated in my opinion.

Yeah, 6 piece radial. Bored out for lower deflection.
