I'm moving from North Carolina to Idaho next month and was wondering if there is anyone in the area. I'll be living in Mountain Home, near Boise. Right now, I live only 5 minutes away from a great pool hall, but it looks like I'll have to drive to Boise (about 40 minutes) to find a place to play in Idaho. I'll be taking my 9' Gold Crown I with me, so I can't complain, but it can get boring playing with yourself all the time... so to speak.

I was stationed at Mt Home from 89-91. There are, or were two decent pool halls there in town with tournaments.

Boise has a really decent place to play (cant remember name).

So unless things and the economy have changed too much, you should be able to find stuff local and in Boise.

I won a qualifier there in Mt Home to play in the Idaho state tourney back in 91.

I live south of Nampa, about an hour from Mt. Home. I travel through there for work once a week. PM me when you get here. I'll swing by to play if it works out. If nothing else, I'll help you get your table set up when you get here.

Poor guy

Idaho, that's worse than Kansas. At least Kansas is kind of a Poolplayer's state (being so close to Oklahoma and all). I looked it up, and the 2000 census showed Mountain Home to have 11,123 people.
