Sorry about the Cliff Joyner thread

I'm sorry for that thread....someone told me that that had happened and I figured I'd run it past you folks to see if there was any truth to it and it doesn't appear that there was. I wasn't trying to start some jacka$$ rumor. I deleted that thread, sorry for the bad info but that seems to be all I ever have.

Apology appreciated. Sometimes you have to be sneaky to be diplomatic and proper, yet still acquire the information you seek. A better approach might have been to start a thread called "How's Cliif Joyner Hitting em?", in order to solicit information about his recent play. I assure you, had the rumor you'd heard been true, somebody with first hand knowledge of it would have come forward and shared it. At very least, it most probably would have been an interesting thread to read,as Cliff is a fascinating player.

By the way I was informed that Cliff won the REDSTIX Bar Box 9 Ball tournament last night in BatonRouge,LA.Winner gets 7,500 $.Matlock and Reed Pearce were there too. Cheers

Wish I'd said that. Nino made a small mistake, owned up to it, and learned something from it, thereby showing very good character.
