sourcing gray ferrule material for CF shaft

Multiple searches for a medium gray ferrule material for a CF shaft over the last year or so have turned up with zero results. Does anyone know where to source this material?

TIA,

Scott

Juma comes in colors that look nice. For example, here are a couple JPs I made from Grey Snake Juma. IMO, I think it would make a great looking ferulle on a CF shaft. Maybe I'll spin one up and try it.

I'm guessing it's a McDermott Defy shaft you're repairing?
I did a quick search for thermoset plastic rod and a few hits came up, but these where darker grey than the Defy ferrule material. Have you tried reaching out to McDermott?

Not repairing a Defy but trying to get the same look as I don't like the tuxedo look of CF and white ferrules. I did reach out to McDermott. Not only do they want an insane amount of money for one but also they are proprietary to their CF shaft.

Gotcha. Google Grey thermoset plastic and you will get results, most I found had a darker grey colour though, but maybe that works for your purpose?

Thanks. Found a couple:

Would either work? Unfortunately, they have $50 minimum orders. I wonder if a local Tap Plastics store would carry something similar?
PVC is what Predator used for 314/2 ferrules, light, but not the strongest material. $50 minimum order isn't that uncommon, seeing that a ft of Elforyn or Micarta is $30-40 your cost would be about the same. Ask about gluing properties before you buy.
