I'm selling my SouthBend Model A with a retrofitted 1-3/8" headstock. The spindle was completely rebuilt for cues. Everything is in excellent working order, and comes with all of the original parts before the conversion. I would like to keep the QC toolpost as its for one of my smaller lathes. This would be a great addition to anyones shop. You can add a taper attachment, or use it to drill and core. All of the auto feeds work seemlessly and there is 36" between centers, and with the chuck on 33". I never needed to remove the chuck. Price is SOLD pick-up only 1 hour north of Chicago. Reason for selling is that I need room in the shop for a large new toy. Here are some pics...
