I acquired a South West cue not to long ago. I was skeptical because it weighed under 19 ounces. I received it in original condition and it has not been modified or had the epoxy removed/drilled out. To my surprise this seems to be the perfect weight for me. There are currently a couple of South West cues for sale on AZ that are 18.8 ounces and I have not come across these cues under 19 ounces very much. With that said I have two questions.
• Has anyone seen an unmodified South West before that is around 18.3 ounces?
• Is the weight what it is because the forearm was not cored and is solid wood?
Comments/Feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
