Southeastern Cue Show? Any Interest?

Looking for ideas and suggestions. If you are cue maker or collector and would be interested in exhibiting, please reply to this thread. If you would be interested in attending said event, please reply to this thread.
Tenative time frame is between late June and mid to late July.
Location is subject to discussion. Although Kim Davenport has offered to host the event at his and Johnny's pool room in Marietta, Georgia. He is offering to also host an open event in conjunction with the Cue Show.

Just let me know what you guys think.

We can eliminate June 25-27 due to the BCA Expo. Here is a homemade calender for July 2009. Let me get some input on the best dates.

JULY 2009

Sun.....Mon.....Tue.....Wed.....Thur.....Fri.....Sat

That would be perfect along with an open event. But the time of year leaves a lot to be desired.

I look at it this way. We are usually so busy in the winter we don't want to have to leave our shops. So the summer is not all that bad of a time. I wonder if we made it the week before if we might get some Asian or European buyers who are in the country for the BCA Expo. Or could it backfire by being too close? I would either move it to July or make it the weekend before the BCA expo. I like the idea of possibly getting the Asian collectors in that might be in the country for the BCA expo. And the weekend before is the only weekend that will be likely to work for them. It only extends their travel plans by a few days.
Maybe do the cue show on Saturday June 18th alone. A easy one day event.
Let's talk again in the next couple of weeks and firm it up. A few of our ICA members have some interest.

I have no problem with the event being held in June. We could arrange to have an AZ meet and greet and a tournament for its members on Friday June 19th with the cue show on Saturday the 20th.

That would be good. Don't know where I got the 18th was a Saturday. Let's phone again after the holiday weekend.
 
Update! This Event Is On.

The Southeastern Cue Show and The MBC 10 Ball Challenge is a GO! The MBC 10 Ball Challenge will start Friday, June 19th and end on Sunday, June 21st. The Southeastern Cue Show will be on Saturday, June 20th. There also will be a few other enjoyable events going on through the weekend.;) ;)
 
I live in southern Indiana, (6 hours to Atlanta) but depending on dates and itinerary, I would definitely have interest.

I live in NC..I definately have a solid 3-8 people that would carry cues with us and would be interested in attending from my area of Raleigh.
