DIAMOND BILLIARD PRODUCTS INC. and DIAMOND PROMOTIONS, LLC. are proud to announce The 1st Annual Southern Classic Tournament (SCT), presented by Harrah’s Tunica Hotel and Casino. Formatted exactly like the ever popular Derby City Classic, this new event looks to bring 9-Ball Banks, One-Pocket, and 9-Ball into an area rich in billiard tradition and ripe for a big ‘ole pool tournament! The host venue will be The Harrah’s Hotel and Casino, located in Tunica, Mississippi. The dates are July 20-28, 2012. The venue has two (2) separate buildings and will hold over one-hundred (100) pool tables, allowing for a “Derby City Classic” like event, as well as 10 days of amateur and open events!
We are very excited about our amateur line up! The BCA Pool League, NAPA, TAP Memphis and APA Memphis will hold events for any member. All league members, from any state, are welcome and invited to participate in these events. Not a member? Not a problem… We will have Open Events for any pool player. The SCT multiple amateur and open events will be held at The Mid-South Convention Center.
The Host hotel, The Veranda Tower, is attached to The Mid-South Convention Center. The Mid-South Convention Center is the location for all amateur and open events. The Veranda Tower is located across the street from The Harrah’s Event Center and can be accessed by shuttle or a short walk.
