uhhJust for curosity id like to see if there are any fair trade offers for my Southwest. Up front I am valueing this at $6000.00. I maybe the only one tto consider this a collectable Southwest. To Lauies knowledge it is the only Pernambuco Southwest made. It was new in May of 2015 and has 3 shafts, two standaed taper 13mm, unplayed shafts and one 12.6mm shaft with about 10 games played. I might consider a Ed Prewitt, Mobley or Minzino in trade. This cue plays. I had a 2006 #323 Southwest that was Pau Ferro into Maple that i purchased and sold due to not being happy with the feel this cue is totally opposite in my opion it plays very very well.
I believe most of you believe I have $3000.00 to $3500.00 in this cue. With the 3 caps Wrapless, small butt, 2 ivory ferrel and the use of my wood the receipt from Southwest is $4530.00. My 40 year old Pernambuco added cost and shipping to me than to Laurie plus an additional year on the build. Yes I am seeking a twenty percent margin to part with it. I am no way seeking to double my money on this cue. Granted I may have pushed the envelope on what someone believes a non inlaid Southwest is worth but it is actually a one of one. Southwest and if rare playable woods appeal, this is IT!
