Can a room owner give me an idea of how much room I need for in square feet for a room with ten tables ? Thank you............Jim

well it depends. What size tables are we talking about 3.5 x 7, 4 x 8, etc. Also the lay out of the room comes in to play. I could be really off but I want to say for home use they say to have at least 5 feet on all sides. Also I know when I worked at a pool hall the liquor control by-laws mandated how much room you needed per table (this among a whole list of do's, don't, and the what I liked to call maybe if sort of's but thats another post) hope this helps

Depends

I have 2800 sq ft with 8 4-1/2 x 9 tables,includes 2 bathrooms and some storage space.

There's a lot more questions I would ask, whats your demographics, (population, colleges, schools, ages, competition, etc...) I would be glad to talk about owning a pool room and its ups and downs, what to expect, procedures, and maybe save you some of the mistakes and give some insight on this business. But only by email. The short answer is for10 tables, you need a minimum of about 4000 feet if you want space for nice bar, sitting area, etc.., but if it was me, I would want at least 6000 minimum, preferably 8000 because I know pool alone by itself, wont make you profit if you have bills to pay. But then theres a lot of ifs involved in that and what your vision is. Let me know if I can help in any way.
