That is an amazing looking wood Sir! Did you have to core it?
 
Must be from the trees that hurricane Frances knocked down in 2004. I thought it was Indian tamarrin at first.

That wood looks nice by itself without inlays or points. I'd like to see what the rest of the cue looks like.

Thank you. The owner called me - he received the cue - said "cue was beautiful and it was perfect". Also needed to take his wife shopping --- something about since he got his cue and now it was her turn:) :) I plan on posting some pictures of it on my website (and the finished butterfly with recut points that is my avatar) and will put some more pictures of spalted on AZB -- it is a beautiful piece of wood.
