Just completed a cue with some highly figured Casurina - only had enough for the one cue.

That is an amazing looking wood Sir! Did you have to core it?
 
Must be from the trees that hurricane Frances knocked down in 2004. I thought it was Indian tamarrin at first.

Unusual

That wood looks nice by itself without inlays or points. I'd like to see what the rest of the cue looks like.

That is one great lookin` piece of wood on that cue. I bet the entire cue looks outstanding!!! Thanks for sharing.

Thank you. The owner called me - he received the cue - said "cue was beautiful and it was perfect". Also needed to take his wife shopping --- something about since he got his cue and now it was her turn:) :) I plan on posting some pictures of it on my website (and the finished butterfly with recut points that is my avatar) and will put some more pictures of spalted on AZB -- it is a beautiful piece of wood.
