Special Falcon Cue??

I am looking at this cue, description as follows:

"FALCON OL – 8 with 2 SHAFTS in best condition. This is the mostly asked cue from the “ONTARIO – LINE” and realy rare to find.
The cue have an original certificate >from building year 1991."

They claim that this piece was sold new at $ 1100 US, but I never heard of a Falcon in that price range.
Can somebody cast some light on this? I'm completely in the dark.

Might be a touch high. I remember that line when it first came out. I always felt it was overpriced, but my buddies picked up a few anyways. I remember being that price range in CAN $$, but not US. Maybe $900 US when it first came out. Nice cue, but plays likes every other falcon, bone ivory inlays, and SS joint. Unchalked I wouldn't pay more than $450 US for that. My two cents!
