the shaft held up while i used it. the uni loc insert pulled out. and i never got around to fixing it. id say put a threaded plug of like phenolic into it before you put the insert or threads into it.
Figured..... I tapped a 3/8x10 into a shaft and didn't like the way it felt, seemed soft. I ended up putting a purple heart plug in it, feels a lot better
