I just came across this today. Its a synthetic cue tip from Australia. I've been thinking about such a product for a few years now. Anyone ever heard or tried such an animal? Thinking about getting some and giving them a go.
 
I bought and put this on a cue to see how they play. They are fine until you try to draw the ball. You can get a little draw. However, when you really need to draw a ball anything over a foot, good luck. But if you want English or follow on the ball they are great.
I also had a number of other players hit with this tip. No one good get it to draw more then a foot.
