Wonder if anyone has had any luck finding a split die holder for a midAmerica, Cueman style tailstock. I'm looking to be able to thread a joint for a collar so maybe 3/4 16.
Thanks

Good find, when i bought mine quite awhile ago i couldn't find them in the usa, so i bought one direct from ChinaDie Holders - - 13/16" Die Holder

Just find the body size for your die your looking to hold. No maching or boring needed
You evidently used them somewhere else before cue making. Only one would be necessary for cuemaking Mine only had to be bored because it was 38.1 mm and 1-1/2 wouldn't quite fit in thereI have 1", 1 1/2" and 2 inch.
They all fit without boring the i.d.
I have 12 of them
I got lucky!

Never, a dumb question from you.A dumb question from a simple hobbyist, is this setup effective enough for threading joint collars or shaft tenons? I had always assumed I would need to do live threading for good results.
