Spokane, Tri-Cities and Portland

I'm going to be road tripping to Portland in a month or so and will be driving through Spokane and Tri-Cities and I'm inquiring about the following:

1. Places to play where the PLAYERS are (I've been to McQ's in Spokane in the past, love it there)
2. I'm looking for a new cue and unfortunately not living in a huge metro area I don't have to chance to hit many different cues. Any good places to purchase a cue where I can try one out?

Can't really help you with your request, but we also will be going to the Portland area in about a month. If you are there around the 4th of July and like blues music, you must go to the Waterfront Blues Festival. Great party!

Trying out a cue

If you go to Portland, just east by about 10 miles in Gresham is a place called Billiards and Bagels. Jim Oswald is the owner and he has thousands of cues and actually prefers you try them out. He used to work with Mcdermott back in the old days. I have bought several from him. Good guy!
