Anyone know if they fixed the rails yet? Last I heard the rails were so bad they didnt even THUD like bad rails they FWAPPED from being crystallized and if you banked just the cueball from the side pocket on the middle diamond it would hit before it got to the foot rails middle diamond.

I know theres a tourney this weekend there but many on the shannon daulton tour complained saying it was a piece of sh*t and thats a big reason I'm not going.... They actually fix them up yet?

Any info is appreciated.

I've known Hodges a long time, and Sporty's is a nice bar, but the tables have gone to hell over the past couple of years. The place turns into a nightclub every weekend, and I have seen people sitting on the rails and basically abusing the tables the way that tables are abused in a nightclub.

Jimmy used to take excellent care of the equipment, but recently the cloth has gone much longer between changes, and the "billiard" end of the club hasn't received any attention.

Hopefully he has taken care of getting the tables ready. They are nice gold crowns, and when maintained, they play excellent.

Rest assured Guys & Gals that the offending tables with the bad rails will not be played on.

We are aware of the problem with a few of the tables so we will not be using those tables during the event.

As always, you can expect a good quality tournament from the Viking Tour at Sporty's this weekend. The Viking Tour always does our best to make sure the equiptment you play on during our events is the best we can make it for our players. This includes only using the tables at venues that are up to par and as always we bring Aramith Super Pro Balls and Chameleon Racks to all the events to help provide consistancy for the players.
