Spot on felt

Just had a champion cloth put on my table about 3 weeks ago. Came home to my daughter and her boyfriend playing on it. After they finished I went out to play and there's a finger sized dark spot on the cloth. She doesn't know what it is, I tried a light solution of vinegar and water lightened it some. Brushed it on let it dry... seemed to fluff the felt more than get rid of the stain. Any suggestions on how to clean it? Sorry if this has been asked before, I did several search's but didn't turn anything up. Thanks,

Try a little Brakleen (green can) on a rag. It can be had at any auto parts store. Don't use too much.
 
We sell over 400lbs. of Chicken Wings every week. I am no stranger to spots on our Simonis. I use a simple degreaser straight(409 etc., NO BLEACH), rub it directly on the spot, immediately follow it up with hot water and then dry. Has worked for me for more years than I care to remember. Brian.
P.S.; I've got a good method for blood removal also... I 've done that more than I care to remember also.

What would that be? Bleed on it more and start using red chalk?:thumbup:

Well I tried some of the 409 type cleaner it seems to have helped lightened it quite a bit anyway. Thanks for the help!
 
One Pool Hall owner in town swears by OxyClean but I haven't had the balls to try it. Hydrogen Peroxide gets rid of relatively fresh blood (don't ask) without leaving much of a mark. After a week you couldn't tell it was there.
