Spray gluing in the feather-strips.

Alright Glen. Like others I am ready to use all the info you give but need more info. I want to re-cover my table for what will be the 4th time (long story).

I need more info on your gluing method, I need details on this "duct taped feather strips" I need more details on proper stretching methods...aka getting the cloth to look like it's been molded around the slates pocket opening.

I will NOT pay some "table mech" that works for the local rec supply store to cover my table when i know I can do it myself.


Where, and when do we get to excess to this info in detail? :shrug:

If there were more people like you on in the world we wouldn't be able to give you the info. I highly doubt, and HOPE that Glen doesn't tell you how to recover a pool table. We are in this business to make money, like anyone, yes we help people, but they usually pay us. Glen is a "table mech" and so am I, so why wouldn't you pay us? But you will ask for the info to recover your table in detail, what purpose would him giving the info away do? I'm sure there is a qualified mechanic in your area who can make sure you are happy.

Trust me I am not trying to take your job away. I am trying to keep the guys that work at the local rec store from covering my table when I know I am just as talented if not more, way way more with my hands then THEY are.

And I am a self proclaimed do it your selfer for pride and financial reasons. But I can find a handful of people for you that do require a pro like yourself.
