NEW PRICES Spring Cleaning: Southwest, Cognoscenti, Josey, Justis, etc.
EDIT prices lowered for the next week; after April 4 I will list the cues elsewhere and these prices will no longer be valid. Price includes ground shipping (except for the SW)
With great reluctance I am placing the bulk of my cue collection for sale. I have attached pictures of all the cues for sale, and below are explanations. Please email me or PM me with questions, comments, or offers. Thanks
Cue 1: Cocobolo Cognoscenti
This is a player’s cue with deep figured cocobolo above and below the textured leather wrap. Joe Gold typical ringwork, G-10 Glass Epoxy Pin, weighs 18.6-19.1 oz (depending on shaft) 3 shafts included (one nearly brand new). There are slight nicks in the butt, but nothing substantial. As you know, Joe’s cue are getting rare and his prices are going up, and finding a plain jane like this is tough.
$1050
SOLD Cue 2: 60” Maple and Cocobolo Kompan Cue (local cuemaker)
This cue is a 60” wrapless cue from a wonderful local cuemaker named Jack Kompan
The rings are nickel and cocobolo, and the cue plays just like my SW (same taper to shafts). The cocobolo is a highly figured piece with just as much figuring on the backside (if not more). Cue comes with 2 shafts. Jack’s prices are very reasonable for a 60” custom with 2 shafts, and my price is even lower. This cue is in excellent condition
SOLD
Cue 3: The big gun -- Tulipwood and Ebony Southwest (426 00)
This is my prized cue; a 2000 Southwest that looks almost as good as it plays. 6 Tulipwood points with 1 maple veneer into jet black Ebony, factory SW leather wrap, matching joint protectors from Kennybuilt, 2 shafts, ~19.0 oz. I will miss this cue dearly, and I promise it is worth every penny. This cue is in absolutely flawless condition
$2350
Cue 4: Purpleheart Josey Fancy Sneaky Pete
I love the way this cue hits. This is a 2003 Josey cue with Holly and Purpleheart inlays at the points and a brand new refinish from Proficient Billiards (I hated the non-glossy standard finish). Cue comes with 1 shaft and weighs 18.6oz. This cue is priced well below my cost including refinish. This cue is in unplayed condition since the refinish
$300
Cue 5:Action Elite Maple Cue (Brand New)
This is the perfect cue for breaking or for a cheap playing cue. This cue is wrapless maple and ebony-type wood and is unchalked.
$80
2x4 Justis Case
This is a black leather custom Justis case with silver trim and tooling on the front and back. This case has a single large pocket in the front and an extra tooled pogo above the pocket. This case is a tank and I absolutely love it, but I have no need for it once the above cues are sold. There is a slight imperfection on the front pocket where the silver has rubbed off, but no damage to the case was done otherwise.
$375.00
