Where did you get the piece that attaches the top slide to the bottom slide?

That is part of the compound slide. Like I mentioned, you will HAVE to add a compound slide or a non compound slide to your existing cross slide to get it raised up to the correct height.

Yes..... mine are not bolted together, that's why my compound slide is constantly moving and I have to keep tightening it. As soon as I get extra cash flow my compound slide is coming off and a non rotating slide will be bolted on. Already talked to Chris about this issue.
 
I took one of the rotating ones and tightened it up true, then drilled and tapped the holes and took an endmill after drilling and made exact size holes for the heads. Hasn't moved since. Also, where do you get the non-rotating ones? Is this a Chris only thing?

Not sure if it's a Chris ONLY thing but I do know Chris has them and sells them.
 
I guess if I would pay attention I wouldn't have to ask so many questions.:confused:
