I agree with Dave, I am not a cuemaker but I had enough cues to know how they play and what I like myself. I like the firm, harder hit of a stainless but I don't like the forward weight and balance. I now have a couple cues with stainless joint taken down with a Ivory sleeve. I can tell the difference with just the one or the other. I am very happy with this joint style ...<<ED

That is a optoin i have never thought of. it sounds like a labor intensive job. How much did you conversion set you back? Also who did it?
