St. Catharines 9ball is alive and well...

The Canadian National Amateur tourney ended yesterday and St Catharines resident Rod Arsenault, who plays out of In The Corner Billiards (448 Welland Ave. St Catharines) has won the event with a convincing 11-4 victory. The St. Catharines contingent in this national event played well as the 3rd place finisher Scott McDonald also plays for In The Corner, as does yours truly, Randy Fawcett, finishing in a respectable 5th-6th place.
 
i am not sure if Kyle Richard is from St. Catherines but i guess he played well too and finished 7/8 place.
Randy, i am also proud to say 4 out 5 Filipino players made it to the top 12!:thumbup:

Lets add another title to the list! Chris Orme of St. Catharines wins the open 9 ball national title after defeating Alain Martel 15-5!
 
Congrats to Chris Orme,

From the tournament chart it looks like he just dismantled everyone in his path....good shooting.
 
I've seen that Rod guy around before. Definitley was supposed to win it...I dont think anyone else even comes close!

Also what happened with Orme in the 10 ball with Bryant?? I'm assuming he forfeited the match. There's no other possibility of that score happening anyway else...I mean come on...she's a girl!! Maybe he forfeited for a BJ?
