Stack Leather Wrap

A buddy of mine recently ordered a Predator P2 with a stack leather wrap. He just got it in, and brought it out to play with last night. As we were playing, his hands started turning brown from the wrap. Is this normal with a stack leather wrap? Also, is there any care he can take to reduce this? This is the first cue he has had with this type of wrap, what are the normal instructions care?

anything made from "new" leather will bleed during the break in time...
It should cease to be an issue after some hours are put on the wrap..

Same thing happened with my new black leather wrap, no worries, it will go away.
