Any idea on what is best to remove stains from Simonis cloth?

Brakleen sprayed on a microfiber cloth then dabbed on the stain in a circular motion. I've done this a few times on my table. Be careful where you spray it as you don't want to get any on a painted surface. It eats paint.

Doesn't it have to specifically be the non chlorinated kind?

Yes. I've only used the non chlorinated version in the green can.
