Looking for some recommendations on a good snooker. I am not looking to spend a lot being that i am only a beginner. Please let me know what you guys think is good and please share your info about Elite cues especially

Well i have a case and I am mainly gonna be playing on a 9 footer so the ill be using the bridge on shots out of reach. I was think no more that $50 when it comes to the budget. So any suggestions

If your going to be playing a nine footer I guess you'll be playing with slightly bigger balls made for the yank tables then.? In which case i'd say dont bother with a snooker cue stick with your pool one. If your gonna be playing with regulation size 2 1/16th balls i'd say the same, stick with a pool cue and save your money $50 aint gonna cover the postage for a decent cue and in all due respect it aint snooker on a 9 footer it's just pool with a different set of rules.

Re; the Omin cues... from thailand they are very good cues but they are not the bargain they were a few years back in fact they are dearer than many a british made cue of the same quality now.

I went on ebay and bought a cue for $130. Aluminum case, beautiful cue, stub extension, expandable extension, spare tips.

starter snooker cue

i'm a beginner snooker player as well. i started out with an elite from pooldawg. $32 delivered. it hit fine, but as we play on a 12ft., the issue of extensions soon came up. so, i ended up with a darkhorse i found on ebay. cue, case, mini butt, and telescoping extension, for $120 delivered. when i was researching, the guys on the snooker forum gave them a decent review. other than the original tip, which was horrible, it's been just fine so far. i'm sure i'll want to upgrade at some point, but for now, i'm quite happy. hope this helps.
