Last year I played on an APA 9ball and 8ball team. Which I enjoyed. However some friends of mine wanted to play next session. A couple of them will be under 21. So I don't believe they can play in the APA. However the people over 21 wanted to play in a smoke free enviroment anyways. Which is great because the closest pool hall to all of them is The Pool Room in Duluth which is smoke free. And is BCA compared to APA.
So basically they asked me if I could start a team for them to play on. But my problem is I don't have a clue how to start a team in the BCA or how different the BCA is from the APA. Also a note but none of them have ever played on a league team before.
I tried going to the BCA League site but couldn't necesarilly figure anything out.
So my questions are...
1) How old do you have to be to join
2) How much is membership and how much does it cost per night to play
3) What steps do you have to take to form a team
4) And I guess what differences are there in BCA compared to APA. Such as handicapping, scoring, etc.
I'm trying to get everything figured out by this week if I can. SO any help is appreciated.
Have a good one
