Starting a Titlist conversion soon

Starting a Titlst conversion soon. It has a much larger handle diameter than today's cues. I have to assume that is just the way it is. Looking at other conversions they have the sticker intact which tells me they are not cutting down the diameter of the handle. What are you all doing?
 
If the veneers are faded cutting it down some will bring back some color. Here is an old Brunswick Butterfly I am converting. Thought it was green when I got it.

The reproduction decals look awful if you want an original looking cue. What is your end goal? Specs? Style? There are a lot of ways to skin that cat without slapping stickers on

Maybe if you showed the cues you have converted the OP might respect your opinion more?

The bigger the butt, the better. Especially if the points are off and your re-tapering. You can get them real close, maybe even perfect.

Agree.
If it's not a 19 oz or heavier, it's probably too thin in the joint area.
If it's too thin, you are left with no choice but to extend the bottom.
Titleist can be told with or without decal.
Last one I did was a BRW.
I just chopped this one

I know your shy about posting pictures, but I hope you post pictures when it's done.
