I've purchased a Cue Companion level 3. What I am wondering is what should I get for ferrules? What would you recommend to use just to practice with, and what would be the major types I should keep on hand for repair? I have a few bar cues and also a few old shafts to practice on, but I'm lost as to what I should get after looking at Atlas's site. I've read good things about the porpers, but do I want to use those to practice on?
I've got video's coming and will be ordering the Hightower book sometime this week. I've done tips for the past few years spinning them in a drill with arbors, and decided to actually get something designed to do this stuff.
