OK, so this weekend and next weekend are gonna be some big ones around my area. We're having our states pool tourney! I'm pretty sure this is basically for VNEA leagues...But could be wrong, cause I'm not really positive on this. This weekend is B and D classes, and next weekend is A and C classes. Last year they made the mistake of throwing my butt into B singles...Well, I won that undefeated, so this year they have me where I belong...In the A class :D . They did however give me an option to play in either regular A class, or step up to what they call "PA select", which is really one step up from A, to play with the best of the best around here and of course I opted to play in this class :D :D I'm going up today to get some pics and check out the scene up there, and even possibly make some money, but who knows? It's gonna be sooo much fun the next two weeks I had to share. I may be able to post some pics later tonight, but if nothing cool is going on, I won't waste the time...Maybe next weekend!! I did however manage to sneak onto a B team and we play tomorrow...Wish us luck guys! I'll check in here periodically for any questions. I can barely sleep I'm so into this, and I worked ALL night!!!! lol Maybe I'll just go to the pool room and see if any stragglers are up there looking for a "fish" lol This is gonna be sooo much fun!

there's no link. you'd have to play leagues up around here to be eligible...you can call WARNERS coin in Erie, PA to find out your eligibility. (814) 454-1587 I'm not sure who you'd have to talk to, but I went through ED cause he knows me and has played against me in leagues...He's a nice guy!

So let me get this straight - you have a thread where you complain that some people think you exhibit bad sportsmanship, and here you're crowing about playing "PA Select" and sneaking onto a B team. Izzat right?

OK, lets talk facts first. Yes, I'm in the PA select bracket...Thats true. The B teams ARE allowed up to 2 A players, so they're THEIR rules, not mine...I'm just taking advantage of em' like alot of others are! I didn't really sneak onto one, but I'm no B player...Thats for sure, that was too easy. I know alot of players who play well that are doing the SAME thing actually, so I'm not the only one doing so. Now you got it straight?

Well, I'm not wanting to argue over this. I'm playing by THEIR rules, and if you wanna criticize me for it, go ahead...If you saw how my team plays you'd know they need me to have any kind of a chance...But hey, you're right and I'm wrong...I'm used to that by now, so it's cool.

I'm absolutely positive that you're used to thinking you're right and everyone else is wrong....

The fact that you're being defensive about playing on this team and getting your panties in a bunch over my question hints at something. What do you think that is?

Well,its now official...We lost! lol The matchup that got us out was against by far the best team we would have faced, and guess what...My "smart" captain sits ME out!! :eek: At least nothing can be blamed on me for the loss...I can't be blamed from the sidelines!! lol Oh well...There's always next weekend in A singles. lol We were sitting out the A players every couple sets for other A players on our team, but really, it wasn't even my turn to sit...I sat out only 1 match prior to this one. But, I guess its all for the best cause now I'm home ready to get some sleep! lol
