stats based on cut angles available?

Hi everyone,
Are there any stats about the cut angles (per range) as % of total number of shoots made in a game?
eg for 0-15 cut angle there are 20% of total shots made on average per game, for 15-30 there are 40% etc
Just a rough estimation. Level of players is important but not such accuracy is needed.
Has anyone tried to estimate it from videos? eg from 10 racks I count 25 shoot of the 100 in the 15-30 range etc
No accuracy is needed

Thanks

I know of no database for this, but if you are looking for raw data there are plenty of tournament videos on YouTube. Look for the ones with overhead camera views used on every shot. It would not take long to analyze a few hundred shots. Keep in mind that the pros use steeper angles than recreational players because they are advantageous for position play and pros are able to handle thinner cuts (that amateurs miss).

Using the overhead views, I looked at a bunch of bank pool matches and found that the pros have a strong preference for crossover banks and avoid non-crossover banks with a cut angle over 15 degrees. However, I never did figure out why these 98% shotmakers only hit 35% banks. I found it pretty easy to estimate cut angle from the overhead video, so you may want to give this a try.
