great stuff, thank you.

Just one thing: table was not a GC3 but a GC4. They said three but when me and another watcher chimed in the chat they corrected it. Awesome stats as always!!

Love all these stats you accumulate. How do you gather all this information!? Do you watch at your computer and enter all the information into a spread sheet as you watch ? Very impressive

Thanks. I just take notes with pencils and pens as each game progresses, then summarize particular info when time permits -- for a tournament that would be after each match, if possible, and at the end of each tournament day; for a challenge match, it would usually be at the end of each day. Then there is a lot more summarizing and arithmetic when the event ends.

That’s awesome, always really enjoy what you do. You probably don’t hear it enough but thank you for taking the time to report for everyone! I love seeing all the stats on matches !

Stats are pretty close considering the margin SVB won by.

Great stats, thank you very much!

Yes, great to have all the info. I didn’t watch the whole thing. Every time I tuned in the commentators were going on about Baneres needing to make a ball. That wasn’t the problem. The numbers show it was layout, after the break. I remember something similar when SVB played Siming Chen.

This stat tells me allot.

Van Boening -- 17 misses in 99 games at the table (a rate of 1 for every 5.8 games at the table)
Bañares -- 21 misses in 97 games at the table (a rate of 1 for every 4.6 games at the table)
Total -- 38 misses in 114 games (1 per 3.0 games)

I learned long ago, in a race to 11 winner breaks pros......you could beat most any of them, if you only made 2 misses per set.
Once you got to 3 misses playing these guys/Rempe/Sigel/Hall/Reid etc you usually lost.

Seeing SVB only have 2 misses per 11.6 racks is even better that 2 per 11.

Thx for the stats.........proves my thinking 30 yrs ago was spot on.
