Here are some results from the Shane Van Boening vs. Tony Chohan One-Pocket match played February 19-21 at Griff's Bar & Billiards in Las Vegas, Nevada. Pay-per-view live streaming was provided by Omega Billiards.

This match was a 3-day race to 24 games, with play stopping each day when the leader reached multiples of 8. The main commentator was Josh Roberts. Van Boening won the match 24-16.

-- The conditions for this match included:
- Diamond 9-foot table, said to have 4¼" corner pockets;​
- blue Simonis cloth;​
- Aramith Tournament balls with a blue-spots cue ball;​
- triangle rack;​
- rack your own with alternating breaks;​
- re-break if a ball is made on the break;​
- no shot clock;​
- cue-ball fouls only unless multiple balls are moved;​

Couple of things I noticed right off:
SVB stayed with his break side whereas TC moved his break from side to side. Take away - TC not comfortable
SVB ran 8 and out way more often. Better ball striker? Yes
TC lost more games where he was way ahead. Take away - not focused
IMO TC should have postponed the match until after the funeral of Amar. I do not think he was into this match and I don't know if he could have postponed it anyway. I don't think SVB would have objected unless some major tournament commitment was imposed on him. TC's lack of offense is clearly visible or invisible for this match. You have to run balls to win no matter how well you move/defend.
 
Pros like Shane are on tight schedules. Also, picking dates that don't conflict with other events is an issue. Postpone, and who knows when they could have played.
