Staying Down on the Ball...

Sometimes I feel like when I miss it's because I am raising up... do you have any advice for me? besides Shock Therapy? LOL... :cool:

Well, some people say to stay down in your stance to the count of 3 AFTER you have stroked the ball. Tony Robles (I think) takes it a bit further and teaches a drill to stay in your stance until all the balls stop moving. Now, I would guess that you should move if it looks like a ball is going to hit you.....but if not, then just stay in that final stroke position until all balls come to a rest. Of course, this is an exaggerated version of "staying down", but it should help condition you to not pop-up immediately after stroking a ball.
