Amazing piece of birdseye for the forearm.
pooldawg8 said:Very nice Remy. What wrap are you going with?
The birdseye also looks great.
cuesblues said:Nice piece of birdseye maple
Nice sharp-even points
Great looking cue
When will it be done?
mdavis228 said:Great cue, Remy! I'm using a steel joint Olney & it plays great!
Jeff's almost done w/ a custom steel jointed cue for me,too. 4 Veneers, ivory inlays, ivory Hoppe ring w/ silver rings against it. I'll post pic's when it's done.
Jeff must have come into a batch full of superlative birdseye. The maple in your forearm is gorgeous, and so is what's in my cue.
Very classy. I'm sure you'll enjoy it.
Congrats,
Chris
Remy said:It's a matter of days. Jeff just said "it's gonna be done pretty quick"
By the way, I really enjoyed talking to you on the phone Ted
cuesblues said:Nice talking to you Tony.
I was glad that my girlfriend comment made you laugh considering what you are going through right now.
I think my cue is being finished at the same time as yours.
I know it's close to completion, and I will post some pics when the mail guy delivers it.
If I get some pics sooner I will post them, but I wouldn't mind waiting.
It's always an exciting moment when the doorbell rings and there's a triangular box or tube sitting there.
Especially since this is my first Jeff Olney cue.
Thanks for sharing these pics
Call me anytime
