I recently flew to Philadelphia for the cue show Little Kenny put on. Whilst I was there I met Branko Stepanovich and he told me he designed flightcases for cues. I saw one of them and had to buy it on the spot. It looked awesome. Built like a tank and yet it was extremely light. Handles in all the right places, fantastic balance when fully loaded and castors too. Capacity is 16 butts, 32 shafts.
Here is the best bit.....57 pounds fully loaded. That's right......57 pounds. So it goes on the international flight with no baggage excess whatsoever!
The proof of course was in the pudding. I was flying back to England in a couple of days so the proper test was how it would hold up on the international flight back home. I locked the case (locks built into the side) and took it to the flight desk. Weight was under the limit and off it went. 9 hours later I am in Manchester, England. I go to the baggage conveyor belt and there it is......in perfect condition with not a mark on it. All my cues locked up safely inside.
I have to say, this case is one of the best billiard investments I have made to date. The case is built rock solid, is as light as it can possibly be and offers the ultimate protection for our expensive cargo. Branko is a really nice chap too. He hasn't asked me to do this review, I have done it because I firmly believe in the product and if you fly with multiple cues, it's the only way to do it with total confidence in my opinion.
I don't know his email address but his number is 219-313-7757. Give him a call.....you can thank me later.
